A large storm moving through the eastern U.S. before Thanksgiving is expected to bring heavy lake-effect snow and wind, particularly across western New York , Cleveland, lower Michigan, and the Great Lakes region. Snow squalls and whiteout conditions could make roads hazardous, while wind gusts of 40-50 mph may cause power outages. Flight delays are likely at major hubs, including Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, and New York City.
