Celtic AGM poll results in as under-fire board romp to re-election with whopping majority

Celtic have announced the results of their AGM with every board member being voted in again. The meeting at Celtic Park last Friday was cut short as fans protested against the board. ‌

Chairman Peter Lawwell halted proceedings following the reaction to a speech from Ross Demond on behalf of Celtic's largest single shareholder Dermot Desmond . Lawwell called a poll on the resolutions at the end of the meeting as the shareholders looked to have their say. ‌

But after the meeting the club released a statement slamming the 'unacceptable' conduct during the meeting. They would then point the finger at the Celtic Trust and the Green Brigade for the AGM descending into chaos. ‌
