Dennistoun residents marched to Glasgow City Chambers yesterday to protest the closure of Whitehill Pool and demand its reopening is funded by the council.
The community pool has been shut indefinitely since 2023, and no funding or plan has been confirmed to reopen it, prompting criticism from local residents.
Members of Living Rent in Dennistoun alongside the Save the Whitehill Pool campaign marched to the City Chambers last night (November 24) to demand that Glasgow City Council commit to securing funding which would see the pool reopen.
Yesterday's march was the third in a series of actions led by the community to urge the council to take steps to reopen the pool.
