The victim allegedly told police that Tyson said, “he would set her on fire if she didn’t get him a beer"

A North Carolina man is accused of spraying rubbing alcohol on a woman, the floor and couch, and then lighting the alcohol on fire, causing the woman's shirt to be set ablaze.

Patrick Tyson, 56, was arrested on felony charges of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and first-degree arson. He was also arrested on misdemeanor charges of assault on a female and misdemeanor injury to personal property.
