A new Florida bill filed last week is pushing to add more responsibilities to mobile home park owners in the state, according to a report from News4JAX sister station WKMG in Orlando.

The legislation — Senate Bill 652 — was initially filed by state Sen. Mack Bernard (D-West Palm Beach) on Friday.

SB 652 aims to revise the obligations of mobile home park owners under state law, adding the following provisions for owners to adhere to: • Require mobile home owners to keep a registration sticker on their homes at all times • Maintain up-to-date records about each homeowner in the park • Provide those records to local code enforcement upon request to help enforce a homeowner’s general obligations under state law • Require each homeowner to maintain his/her mobile home and its lot in a
