TORONTO - Indiana Pacers point guard Andrew Nembhard is giving back to Toronto's basketball community.
Nembhard, from Aurora, Ont., is donating a basketball shooting machine to the Malvern Family Resource Centre in the Toronto area Scarborough.
The machine automatically passes basketballs back to players after they make a shot.
Nembhard is back in the Greater Toronto Area before the Pacers play the Raptors at Scotiabank Arena tomorrow.
His father, Claude Nembhard, was a volunteer coach for years and is now the chief executive officer of Ontario Basketball.
Nembhard is averaging 18.3 points, 6.4 assists and 1.6 rebounds per game for the Pacers (2-15) this season.
