James Van Der Beek ‘s wife Kimberly is providing a hopeful health update.

The 48-year-old Dawson’s Creek actor is battling Stage 3 colorectal cancer , and is selling memorabilia to help pay for medical expenses.

On Monday (November 24), he shared a video on his Instagram thanking the fans who have helped him raise the money for his treatment and other families who are also dealing with cancer. He was seen wearing his Varsity Blues jersey, and shared that there’s an opportunity to buy signed and unsigned jerseys.

“By popular demand! My favorite jersey. Last year when I released the Blues jersey, I was blown away by the love and support I received from all of you. It has meant more than I can ever express,” he wrote.
