The weather during the 2025 Thanksgiving holiday weekend has it all: gusty winds on Thanksgiving Day; sun and clouds alternating throughout; and rain and maybe a little snow in some places to cap it off Sunday night.
That's how the National Weather Service's long-range forecast for Thanksgiving and the weekend that follows is shaping up as we approach mid-week.
Thanksgiving 2025 forecast in mid-Hudson Valley
Thanksgiving itself will be partly sunny, with highs in the low 40s in Orange, Dutchess and Ulster counties, and the upper 30s in Sullivan County.
But there will be sustained winds ranging from 10 to 18 mph in all four counties, and wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.
But those wind gusts should die down by nighttime. Thanksgiving night will be partly cloudy, with lows in the mid-20s
