Millions of workers are set to receive a pay boost next year following the Government's announcement of minimum wage increases. Chancellor Rachel Reeves revealed she had endorsed the Low Pay Commission's proposals to ensure those earning modest salaries are "properly rewarded" for their efforts.

The National Living Wage will climb by 4.1% to £12.71 per hour from April for eligible workers aged 21 and above , with the Government stating this will boost annual gross earnings for full-time employees on this rate by £900, helping approximately 2.4 million low-paid workers.

Meanwhile, the National Minimum Wage for 18 to 20 year olds will jump by 8.5% to £10.85 per hour, r
