A woman was terminated from her job at the Carlisle Salvation Army eight days after she reported a coworker forcibly rubbed her foot against his crotch.

Now, she’s exhausting administrative remedies in anticipation of filing suit against the Salvation Army, which provides a range of services to people in need.

Police charged 66-year-old William Baltaeff with indecent assault after he admitted in writing to rubbing his coworker’s foot against his genitals on Aug. 22.

The victim reported the incident on Aug. 24 according to her attorney, Faith Pensinger. She received a termination letter from the Salvation Army 8 days later:

“After much prayerful consideration it has been decided that your continued employment was not in the best interest of The Salvation Army,” the letter read.
