PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A Valley gang member convicted of first-degree murder has been sentenced to life in prison nearly four years after the killing in north Phoenix, prosecutors announced Tuesday.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office said Keith McCollough was sentenced to natural life for the murder of Richard “Ricky” Coss on Dec. 18, 2021. He was also ordered to spend 20.75 years in prison for first-degree burglary at Coss’ home.

Authorities said McCollough was a member of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club when he and other masked suspects broke into an apartment near 23rd Avenue and Rose Garden Lane , just north of the Loop 101, after a fight had reportedly broken out hours earlier.
