SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department has fired two probationary officers after unrelated incidents a few weeks ago, though only one officer now faces criminal charges.
Giselle Lopez Chavez was accused of public intoxication after a downtown incident in late October while Cora Michelle Crocker was charged with assault after an alleged attack on the far northwest side in early November.
On Oct. 26, Police responded to the 800 block of N Alamo Street for a disturbance. Upon arrival, police discovered Chavez and Matthew Joseph Garcia were both on the ground in handcuffs in front of La Roca Cantina.
