Thanksgiving weekend is a good time to hit the pause button.
Besides all the parades, food and football (assuming you partake in such delights), it’s turkey soup for the soul to slow down and reflect on family, friends and all that life has given you — large or small, close or distant or still yet to come.
Because we live in a world that some worry is going mad, a country that is becoming increasingly polarized politically, and at a time when many of our closest loved ones feel uncertain about their futures — it’s an appropriate time to ponder where to go from here.
