TYLER, Texas — Two pit bulls involved in a " vicious attack " that killed a Tyler woman will be destroyed, Smith County authorities said.
A hearing to determine what will be done with the dogs Wednesday has been cancelled following a court order from Smith County Justice of the Peace Pct. 2. The court determined the two dogs, one male pit bull mix and one female pit bull mix, caused the death of Madison Hull and ordered their seizure.
The court ordered the dogs to be given to Smith County Animal Control and be humanely destroyed. The owner's right to a hearing on the matter was also waived by the court.
