WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - As Thanksgiving approaches, restaurants and grocery stores across Connecticut are making it easier for families to enjoy the holiday without spending hours in the kitchen.
The Charles restaurant in Old Wethersfield is preparing 200 turkey and ham meals for pickup, offering customers a traditional Thanksgiving dinner without the preparation work.
“We offer several different meals. A 12 person meal comes with a fully cooked turkey,” The Charles said.
While The Charles will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, the restaurant is embracing the holiday spirit by not only providing meals to customers but also giving back to the community.
Bryce Hardy, owner of The Charles, is donating 110 turkeys to the Wethersfield Food Pantry this year, with help from customer donatio
