RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Richmond FBI is offering a reward up to $20,000for information to help solve a suspicious death of a Florida woman whose remains were found in Emporia this summer.
Meredith Rose Walker, 23, was last seen alive in Orlando, Florida, on May 30, 2025.
She was seen near the intersection of Robinson Avenue and Mills Avenue, close to Lake Eola Park, walking towards I-4.
Meredith had just been released from an Orlando jail. The FBI says family members believe she may have been headed north to be with family after the recent death of a loved one and she may have intended to hitchhike.
On June 7 at 1:45 p.m. officers responded to a report about the remains at the intersection of Commonwealth Boulevard and Market Drive in Emporia.
They later identified those remains as W
