ROCHESTER, Minn. - With the holidays approaching, lots of organizations in Rochester and some grocery stores are providing support for those who need it this season. The Salvation Army, Channel One Food Bank, and Hy-Vee, to name a few, are doing their part to help out and make sure that no one goes hungry.
Demand has continued to rise this year, with Channel One going into the holidays in a food deficit. Even with the uncertain times, organizations are still trying to give everyone a special holiday season, along with a good meal.
These programs are calling on the community to help out. Channel One accepts monetary donations and the Salvation Army is always looking for volunteers.
Channel One will be open on Wednesday, November 26th from 8am until 6pm. The food bank will be closed Thurs
