WASHINGTON — The wait is almost over for fans of Netflix's hit science fiction series "Stranger Things."
The fifth and final season will arrive in three parts this holiday season, beginning Wednesday, Nov. 26.
It's been more than three years since the last installment from Hawkins, Indiana. Season 4, released in 2022, ended with major cliffhangers as Vecna succeeded in opening portals between Hawkins and the Upside Down, though the heroes managed to temporarily stop him.
