STANTON, Neb. (KTIV) - Firefighters and law enforcement in Nebraska were busy throughout Tuesday, Nov. 25, as they were called to various fires and crashes.
House fire extinguished in Stanton County, NE
At about 10 a.m. on Tuesday, the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office were called to a house fire in a rural area east of Norfolk.
The home was located north of the Highway 275 and 562nd Avenue intersection, and when authorities got there, smoke had filled the building.
“Sheriff Unger and Emergency Manager Mike Frohberg entered the house and found two people still in the smoke-filled residence trying to put out the fire and evacuate several cats‚" stated a press release from the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office.
