GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Travel numbers are expected to reach record highs this year, making it the busiest holiday for travelers.
AAA experts say many feel an obligation to travel, leading to everyone funneling onto roads and into airports at the same time.
Tuesday is expected to be the busiest day for departures and could be much more crowded when factoring in the weather.
“That is certainly going to add another layer of complexity to the whole equation. Try and hit the road earlier in the day if possible, but certainly, you need to take those weather conditions into advisement,” said Nick Jarmusz, director of public affairs for AAA.
The worst travel times tomorrow are expected to be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
