Ryanair has announced it will add more than 11,000 extra seats on flights to and from Liverpool during Christmas week as the airline prepares for a surge in festive travel. The carrier, Europe’s largest by passenger numbers, expects to fly over 47,000 travellers through Liverpool John Lennon Airport this Christmas, ensuring people can return home or visit loved ones during one of the busiest periods of the year.

The additional seats form part of Ryanair’s full Winter 2025 schedule, which is now available to book. Ryanair is also promoting its travel gift cards as a Christmas option for families and friends.
