LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Mayor Craig Greenberg and Metro road crews gave an update Tuesday on this season's snow plans.
Officials said the team added eight dump trucks, three pickup trucks, 16 brine trucks, and upgraded plows.
There are also 32,000 tons of salt available.
The Metro's snow map has also been expanded to cover 2,700 miles over 111 routes, but that doesn't mean every street will be handled the same way.

"Not all streets are treated equally during a storm, though. Our snow routes are focused on roads which carry the most traffic and those critical to connecting people to large employment areas, neighborhoods, schools, medical facilities, and hospitals," said Bill Bell with the Louisville Metro Department of Transportation.
