ROYALTON, Vt. (WCAX) - If you celebrate Thanksgiving, you’ve likely already started your preps for the big meal on Thursday. But if you live in Royalton, you won’t have to lift a finger.
That’s because volunteers there are cooking dinner for the entire town.
“It’s the favorite thing we do every year,” said Eben Brock, executive chef from Vermont Law and Graduate School.
It’s been a tradition since 1998. Vermont Law and Graduate School hosts a full Thanksgiving meal for all of Royalton.
“It’s a really good opportunity to bridge the gap between the community and all of these people who are coming in to be a part of the community, to bring them dinner and have them sit at the same table,’ said Brock.
