CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - One person is dead after a shooting in northwest Charlotte on Tuesday night, according to police.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said on Tuesday, Nov. 25, around 9 p.m. they responded to Thriftwood Drive near Freedom Drive for an assault with a deadly weapon call with injury.
When officers arrived, they found one person who was suffering from a gunshot wound, and Medic pronounced them dead.
Details on what led up to the shooting were not immediately available at the time of this writing.
