(Seguin) — A major crash Wednesday morning has forced the complete shutdown of State Highway 123 on the south side of Seguin.
Seguin Police Department officials say the accident will impact commuters in the area, and drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route. The highway is closed from Lange Road to FM 477, following what police are calling a serious accident. The crash was reported just before 6:40 a.m. Wednesday.
Emergency crews remain on the scene as they work to clear the roadway and investigate the crash. There is no word yet on when the highway will reopen. Drivers are encouraged to use caution and monitor traffic updates before traveling through the south end of Seguin.
