HOUSTON, Texas – Two people were shot on Thanksgiving morning after Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies said a fight broke out in northwest Harris County.
Deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 8000 block of Dodiewood around 1 a.m. When deputies arrived, they found a man lying in the street with an apparent gunshot wound.
Investigators believe a fight broke out amongst several people, and two were shot, and another person was left injured.
The two people shot were both transported to the hospital and are expected to survive.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office said one person has since been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
