TONOPAH, AZ (AZFamily) — A semi-truck rollover has caused the closure of Interstate 10 in one direction in the far West Valley.

Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers responded to the reported crash around 5:15 a.m. on I-10 eastbound near 411th Avenue in Tonopah.

DPS confirmed a semi-trucked rolled over in the crash, and injuries have been reported. The extent of injuries is unclear.

I-10 eastbound is closed near 411th Avenue as troopers respond, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). Drivers are being taken off the freeway at Salome Road.

It’s unknown how long the closure will remain in place.
