RideChoice launches next month
Peoria residents will have a new, convenient, and affordable way to get around town through Valley Metro’s RideChoice program beginning Dec. 1.
Residents must qualify under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
RideChoice provides on-demand transportation for ADA paratransit-certified residents with disabilities who live in participating communities, including Peoria. The service connects riders to a large wheelchair-accessible network of transportation providers such as Uber, Lyft, and taxicabs, offering more flexibility, independence, and mobility across the Valley.
With RideChoice, eligible residents can request rides any time, day or night, including holidays. They travel directly to their destination without sharing a ride. The rides can be used to go
