WEXFORD COUNTY, MI – The fiancé and sister of a missing pregnant woman were arrested after a body was found Tuesday, 9&10 News reports.
Rebecca Park, 22, was last seen on Nov. 3 leaving a family member’s home in Wexford County’s Boon Township. She was reported missing the next day. Park was 38 or 39 weeks pregnant at the time. On Tuesday, more than three weeks after she was last seen, a body that “resembles” Park was found by citizen searchers in the Manistee National Forest near where she went missing. Positive identification is pending an autopsy. The status of Park’s child is unknown.
It is not clear what charges the fiancé and sister were arrested on. It is also unclear whether their arrests are connected with the missing person’s case. 9&10 reports that they could be arraigned today
