STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Once again, Curtis and Susan Wagner’s home-and-home series will take place in the blink of an eye.
The Warriors and Falcons will play in the PSAL 4A Brooklyn-Staten Island II division along with Abraham Lincoln, Canarsie and South Shore.
As was the case when the Warriors and Falcons played in the Staten Island division, they’ll square off against each team in the division twice while meeting each of the five teams in the Brooklyn-Staten Island I division once.
That seems reasonable.
When Curtis and SW played in the Staten Island division, the teams would routinely meet once before the holiday break, then again in January or February.
It always seemed fair and if nothing else, allowed observers to see how the teams improved or tailed off from when they first met e
