VAN BUREN, Ark. — Arkansas State Police have arrested an Oklahoma man after a routine traffic stop revealed hundreds of pounds of marijuana.
On Tuesday, November 18, a state trooper stopped a 2005 Toyota pickup truck near the Arkansas/Oklahoma state line for a traffic violation.
A search of the truck's bed revealed 221 pounds of illegal marijuana in several trash bags.
The driver, 33-year-old Jeremy Dean Moots from Oklahoma City, OK, was arrested and taken into custody, where he faces felony charges for possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
