VAN BUREN -- Arkansas State Police seized around 221 pounds of illegal marijuana during a Nov. 18 traffic stop.
A state trooper stopped a 2005 Toyota pickup around 7 a.m. on Nov. 18 near the Arkansas/Oklahoma state line for a traffic violation, according to a news release from the Arkansas State Police.
During the search of the truck's bed, troopers discovered approximately 221 pounds of illegal marijuana concealed in several trash bags, the release states.
Jeremy Dean Moots, 33, of Oklahoma City, was arrested on suspicion of felony charges including possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia and taken to the Crawford County Detention Center, according to the release.
