Your Local Pantry (YLP) has 125 shops in Britain at the moment, with the grocer operating slightly differently from your standard local Tesco , Sainsbury's or Asda .

Each pantry store operates on a membership basis, with customers able to sign up on its website online or by popping into a YLP location.

Membership costs will set you back between £3.50 and £7 per week, dependent upon where you live and which branch you use. This charge is placed on top of your total bill for your shopping when you get to the till.
