GROTON, Conn. (WFSB) - Emergency crews responded to a fire in Groton on Wednesday morning.

Firefighters were called to Phoenix Apartments located on Long Hill Road after a report of a working fire, officials said.

When crews arrived, they found a fire on the third floor of a multi-family residence.

There is no word on any injuries or if anyone was displaced at this time.

No further details were released.
