Police have released a virtual image of a man wanted in connection with a sexual assault.

A woman aged in her 30s reported she was out running along a path off Illiffe Way in Stowmarket between 5.45am and 6am on Wednesday, November 19, when she was approached by an unknown man.

He reportedly pulled her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.

A 38-year-old man was arrested but later released without charge on Tuesday, November 25 and will face no further police action.

Officers have released an EvoFIT likeness of the suspect .

He is described as white, approximately 5ft 10ins in height and of medium build.

He was wearing a dark woolly beanie hat, a thick, dark rain jacket and dark trousers.

The suspect was also reported to have smelled strongly of cigarettes and cannabis.
