A Navajo District Court judge granted a temporary restraining order on Nov. 25 blocking legislation calling for the removal of Navajo President Buu Nygren .

Nygren filed a motion seeking the order in the Window Rock District Court on Nov. 24. The court granted the motion, prohibiting the Navajo Nation Speaker and the Navajo Nation Council from implementing the legislation until the court proceedings are completed.
