Thanksgiving Eve is one of the biggest drinking holidays of the year. In Delaware, there is no tolerance for driving under the influence.

Delaware's Office of Highway Safety, Delaware State Police and local police are teaming up for a DUI checkpoint somewhere in New Castle County on Thanksgiving Eve, Nov. 26. A checkpoint in New Castle County in September led to five DUI arrests.

A crash in New Castle on Nov. 16 killed one person, and the driver was charged with DUI and vehicular manslaughter. So far, 104 people have died on Delaware roads, according to state data.

Four of them were the result of alcohol or drug impairment, but that number could rise as investigations continue.
