A 30-year-old Seattle man died walking on southbound Interstate 5 in downtown Seattle early Wednesday, Washington State Patrol said.
The man was walking from the right to left shoulder of the freeway near Yesler Way around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday when a driver in a Toyota Prius struck him. The crash blocked the road for nearly three hours, WSP said in a memo.
The 48-year-old driver was treated at the scene, WSP said.
