SCARBOROUGH, Maine — Authorities are searching for a suspect who fled after a Scarborough bank robbery Wednesday afternoon.
Police received reports of the incident at Chase Bank on Hannaford Drive around 1:39 p.m., according to a news release from Scarborough police. Investigators said the suspect fled in a maroon Chevrolet Trailblazer with out-of-state plates. No weapon was displayed, and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s with blond hair and "stubble." He was reportedly wearing a gray sweater, jeans, tennis shoes, and black sunglasses.
Police released three photos from security cameras of the suspect.
