JACKSONVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — What has been dubbed the "World's Tallest Advent Calendar" is returning for 2025 in Jacksonville.

The 110-foot-tall Farmers State Bank and Trust Company transforms its building into a Christmas countdown every year.

Each window will display a symbol of the season, with a new symbol revealed daily from December 1 through the 24.

Just like a home advent calendar gives candy each day that is revealed, people are invited to come into the lobby and get a sweet treat during business hours.

On December 1 at 4:45 p.m., the Illinois College drumline will provide musical accompaniment for the first reveal of the season.
