A two-week undercover operation targeting child sex predators resulted in the arrests of six men who allegedly attempted to lure minors online, Metro Police announced this morning.

All six face felony charges of luring a child with a computer for a sex act and were booked into the North Las Vegas Detention Center. The operation is part of ongoing efforts by law enforcement to reduce violent crime and protect children in the community, officials said.
Authorities are urging parents to talk with their children about the dangers of interacting with strangers online and to regularly monitor their social media and online activity to help prevent them from becoming victims.
