TOWN OF SYLVESTER (NBC 26) — The two people who died in a plane crash near Monroe on Monday were from Winnebago County.
The victims have been identified as a 43-year-old man from Oshkosh and a 41-year-old man from Omro, according to the Green County Sheriff.
The plane originally took off from Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, according to FlightAware.com. The plane took off at 4:41 p.m. and crashed at 5:14 p.m.
