Cape Girardeau firefighters respond to house fire in 200 block of S. Hanover St.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Firefighters are on the scene of a house fire on Wednesday afternoon, November 26.

According to the Cape Girardeau Police Department, the fire department is working a house fire behind the AM/PM convenience store. The store is currently blocked off.

Our crew at the scene say it’s in the 200 block of S. Hanover Street, between Good Hope and William Streets. William Street is also blocked in the area because of a fire hose stretched across the road.
