Nags Head to present bid results for beach nourishment project at Dec. 3 meeting

As the Town of Nags Head moves forward with beach nourishment plans, it will present the project bids it has received at the Dec. 3 Board of Commissioners meeting. Those bids, from Manson Construction, Great Lakes Dredge & Dock and Weeks Marine, range between about $35 million and $43 million and are dependent, to some extent, on whether the work is done in 2026 or 2027. Currently, there is no set timeline for the project.
