DALLAS — A project to expand Dallas' Klyde Warren Park by 1.7 acres to the west could break ground next year.
The expansion will cover the last recessed part of Woodall Rodgers Freeway, and the project also includes a 24,000-square-foot building with reception and event space and an 8,000-square-foot roof terrace, according to the park's website . Recent Dallas Park Board filings show the estimated construction budget for the project increased from $65,383,008 to $121,488,529 because of an increase in the Texas Department of Transportation construction cost estimates.
