WAYNESBORO, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Waynesboro Police Department has released new details after a shooting that happened Nov. 16 on A Street.

Investigators have made two arrests in connection with this incident and say additional arrests are pending.

Officials say three people were shot, and one victim was in critical condition as of Nov. 16.

“Acts of violence in our community will not be tolerated. We will continue to use every available resource to ensure the safety of our officers and the citizens of Waynesboro. The Waynesboro Police Department, in conjunction with all partnering agencies, will continue to pursue this case until it is fully resolved and every individual responsible is held accountable,” officials said in a news release.

Officials said the shooting is gang-related.
