CHARDON, Ohio — Geauga County took two formal steps Tuesday toward purchasing the Geauga County Public Library’s administration building for a new, consolidated senior center — a $3.2 million project officials say will modernize services for older residents.
Commissioners approved two required letters: one notifying the library board of the county’s intent to purchase the building at 12701 Ravenwood Drive, and another affirming that the county will not pursue eminent domain if the board declines to sell.
