MOUNT OLIVE, Ala. —

The National Weather Service in Birmingham confirms two tornadoes struck Jefferson County early Tuesday morning, November 25:

EF-0 damage from far western Jefferson County near to Graysville (EF-0 is 65 to 85 mph)

EF-1 damage around Mount Olive in northern Jefferson County (EF-1 is 86 to 110 mph)

There was no Tornado Warning in effect, but we did have a Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect for Jefferson County.

It has been 1,378 days since the last Tornado Warning in Jefferson County; that was on Feb. 17, 2022.
