CANYONVILLE, Ore. - Seven Feathers Casino Resort and the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians are lighting up Douglas County with a historic holiday event.
According to the Cow Creek Umpqua Tribe, more than 1.5 million lights will transform Exit 99 into a dazzling holiday destination during the inaugural "Light the Sky" event on Friday, November 28.
"This is a momentous occasion for Seven Feathers, and for the Cow Creek Umpqua Tribe," said Tribal Chairman Carla Keene.
The event will feature a synchronized lighting display coordinated by 22 team members. The lighting ceremony is free and family-friendly, taking place at the main entrance of Seven Feathers Casino Resort. It will kick off the Winter Wonderland Celebration, running through Jan. 1, 2026.
