COCHISE COUNTY, Ariz. (KVOA) - A two-vehicle crash on state Route 92 left one person dead and others with injuries on Tuesday night.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the fatal two-vehicle crash happened on Nov. 25 around 4:44 p.m.

AZDPS said the driver of a Mazda Miata failed to yield while attempting to make a left turn on state Route 92. The Mazda was struck by a Toyota Sienna which was traveling eastbound on the highway.

The driver of the Mazda was pronounced dead at the scene, and the passenger was airlifted for further medical care with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver and passengers of the Toyota sustained minor injuries.

Additional details, including the name and age of the victim, will be released later, AZDPS said.
